Distinguished Senator Osita Izunaso OFR, member representing the good people of Imo West Senatorial District and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Capital Market and Institutions, has extended warm felicitations to Nigerian children, particularly the wonderful children of Orlu Zone, on the special occasion of International Children's Day; emphasizing the importance of nurturing, protecting, and empowering children as solid foundation for brighter future of the nation.

In his message, Distinguished Senator Izunaso, called on parents, educators, and community leaders to come together to encourage children in their dreams, talent and pursuit of their natural endowment and aspirations, saying that, every child deserves the right for equal opportunities to explore their full potentials, so as to be well equiped to contribute positively to egalitarian society.

Sen Izunaso said, the theme for this year's International Children's Day Celebration *'Little Footsteps, Big Future'* could not have come at a better time in a world, where the life and future of today's younger generation is characterized by high frequency digital wave and its attending challenges, saying, "It is the collective responsibility of all, to create an environment where every child can thrive through equal rights, social protection, affordable qualitative education, accessible healthcare, and safe communities."

The Distinguished Senator urged fellow policymakers, parents, and community leaders to reaffirm commitment to children's rights and well-being. "Our children deserve a future filled with hope and opportunity, let us strive to build a world and a nation where their dreams can flourish without quagmatic hindrance."
