Crime Reporters Global Congratulates Felix Ojo as New FCT Correspondent Chapel Chair

Crime Reporters Global Nigeria extends its warmest congratulations to Comrade Felix Ojo on his recent unopposed election as the Chairman, FCT Correspondent Chapel of the NUJ. 

In his Statement the National Chairman, Crime Reporters Global Nigeria, Comrade Tita Onyebuchi Nze, also the Assistant National Secretary, Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ National Secretariat, Abuja remarked that "This significant achievement of Comrade Felix Ojo's unopposed election not only underscores his unwavering dedication, commitment and immeasurable grace on his journalistic journey, but also marks a promising new chapter for the FCT Correspondent Chapel.

The Crime Reporters Global National Chairman said, Comrade Ojo's extensive career in journalism, marked by integrity, professionalism, and a passion for truth, has set a high standar among Journalists operating within the FCT. 

"His tested leadership skills and collaborative spirit were evident during his tenure as the Vice Chairman and acting Chair respectively, prior totheelection, where he received overwhelming support from fellow members, reaffirming their confidence in his vision, goals and interest in the Correspondent Chapel of the FCT."

Comrade Tita said, as newly elected Chair, Comrade Ojo no doubt is saddled with enormous responsibility of strengthening the bond among members, promote transparency, and elevate the standards of journalism among the NUJ beat associations within the FCT and by extention Nigeria at large, because to whom much is given much is definitely expected, especially from a critical group as Correspondent Chapel members.

Crime Reporters Global Nigeria promises to support and work alongside Comrade Ojo and the entire Executives of the FCT Correspondent Chapel, in their initiatives that will uphold the values, welfare and other critical issues affecting members of the Correspondent Chapel.
