The Minister of Works Sen. Engr David Nweze Umahi has  played host to the Hon. Minister  of Environment, Balarabe Abbas Lawal as part of inter-ministerial collaboration in tackling different developmental challenges 

The Special Adviser media to the Minister Of Works, Barr. Orji Uchenna Orji, made this known on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 while speaking to newsmen in Abuja

According to the SA Media, he disclosed that the meeting which was held behind closed doors is part of the innovative initiatives of the Renewed Hope administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to foster a sense of inter-ministerial collaboration and thinking out of the box in tackling different developmental challenges facing the nation.

Barr Orji said the mandate of the Federal Ministry of Environment which focuses on innovative strategies that emphasizes on the use of environmental re - engineering as a veritable tool for job creation, poverty eradication, food security, sustainable economic development and general improvement in the livelihood of Nigerians, requires a great deal of the works sub-sector to be actualized.
