MEDIA EXECUTIVES NETWORK VISITS AILING BROADCASTER OGECHI IWU.

The Media Executives Network have paid a welfare visit to ace broadcaster, Ogechi Iwu of Ozisa FM Owerri, over the ill health that led to the amputation of one of his legs.

Leading the delegation, Comrade Dorothy Nnaji, the Chairman of the Group's Anniversary Planning Committe informed Mr Iwu that they were there to show solidarity and camaraderie to him as a Media colleague. 

Comrade Dorothy explained that the Media Executives Network is an Organisation of highly placed Media Professionals from various sectors, who came together to chat a way for the welfare of media community. 

Stating that the Organisation is currently putting things inplace for its second anniversary coming up on the 14th of November in Owerri, which will feature Annual Lecture Series, Gala night among others. Comrade Dorothy encouraged Mr Iwu to keep hope alive as long as there is life saying that the group members are with him in spirit.

In his response, the emotional ladened Ogechi Iwu thanked members of the Media Executives Network for the visit, saying that he is overwhelmed by the rare show of Love; explaining that one of his legs was amputated at the Federal Medical Centre Owerri due to a debilitating health conditions.

Mr Iwu while thanking Members of Media Executives for the financial gift to him on the visit, said he was encouraged by their kind gesture, stating that he would like to be part of the group and would willingly offer any assistance within his capacity towards the successful hosting of the upcoming Anniversary.

Members of the Media Executives Network delegation on the visit include Mrs Dorothy Nnaji, Comrade Eze Adiuku, Chief Ndukaku Chimezie and Comrade Ngozi Ejimadu.End ...Talibabaa
