Death has occured of Mrs Abigail Makinde mother of the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde

Mrs Makinde died in the early hours of Thursday 15th Oct at the age of 81. In a statement issued by a family member Chief Muyiwa Makinde, said the deceased died in her Ikolaba Oyeleke Street, home in Ibadan home. Chief Muyiwa disclosed that she gave no indication of any sickness before her demise.

The statement which read in part  “While we appreciate the Almighty God for sparing her life thus far, we must confess that we will sorely miss her counsel, motherly role and impact on the lives of her children and the grandchildren."
