Edo Police Command Arrests 11 Years Old For Attack on Station and unlawful possession of Police Uniform; investigatorsnews correspondent reports.

An eleven year old boy who paraded himself as the Inspector General of Police during voilence Protests that led to destruction and vandalization of Police Stations in Benin city has been arrested by the Police for allegedly joining gang of hoodlums that attacked Oba market Police Station in Benin where arms, ammunition, Police uniforms and other items were reportedly carted away.

The young boy who was said to have worn the uniform of a police sergeant moments after the Police Station attack at Evbuotubu area of Benin city was paraded before the Press.

According to Edo State Commissioner of Police Babatunde Kokumo,  "the boy declared himself as the Inspector General of Police, he was  seen issuing orders and was bragging himself all around Benin metropolis during the period of the mob protest wearing the said Police uniform, he attracted cheers and hails from the large crowd of his fellow Protesters. 

 "He was subsequently arrested and will be arraigned in a juvenile court soon."
