Izunaso Salutes Gov. Uzodinma and Imo @50

In a resounding gesture of excitement and celebration, Distinguished Senator Dr. Osita Izunaso, OFR, member representing Imo West Senatorial District and Chairman Senate Committee on Capital Market and Institutions,( the Committee that was recently eulogised by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for their outstanding excellent performance), has extended warmest felicitations to his amiable brother and dependable ally, His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma, CON, Onwa Oyoko, and the good people of Imo State, as they kick-start activities marking the 50th Anniversary of the creation of Imo State, with an Inter-Denominational Thanksgiving Church Service at the Rear Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu Square, Owerri.

Senator Dr. Osita Izunaso who is also the Chairman, Contact and Mobilization Sub-Committee on Imo@50 said, " the milestone of the well deserved Celebration is not just a reflection of achievements over the past five decades but also a testament to the resilience and vibrancy of Imo people and their heritage, more importantly, the articulated visionary leadership quality and ideology of the present 3R administration of Governor Hope Uzodinma.

Senator Izunaso emphasized that, "As we celebrate Imo @50, we must recognize contributions of our heros past and the giant strides we’ve made together; saying that, under the leadership of Governor Uzodinma, we've witnessed tremendous developments in various sectors which are pivotal to the State's progress."

He called for continued collaboration among all stakeholders to further enhance the prosperity and State’s growth, encouraging citizens to take pride in their collective achievements as they look forward to a brighter future.

Senator Osita Izunaso, the Chairman, Contact and Mobilization Sub-Committee on Imo@50 used same medium to invite all and sundry to the IMO @50 Celebrations,  while highlighting significant projects initiated by Governor Uzodinma that have positively impacted lives of the citizens, contributing to the unprecedented massive infrastructural development, industrial, economic and youth empowerment, in addition to health and social transformation.

As the celebrations unfold, Senator Dr. Osita Izunaso urges progressive Imolites to reflect on the past, celebrate the present, and work together towards a more prosperous future for Imolites. END
