The Media Executives Network has joined well meaning individuals and groups to congratulate the fmr Director General, National Senior Citizens Centre, Dr Emem Omokaro on her well deserved Award of Excellence bestowed on her by the Correspondent Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, FCT Council, describing her as an exceptional woman of vision and a trail blazer who against all odds, weathered the storm of professional excellence to distinguish herself in her calling.

A statement signed by Comrade Tita Onyebuchi, Nze, Assistant National Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, and Chief admin of the group, says that, Media Executives celebrates Dr. Emem Omokaro, the pioneer DG of the National Senior Citizens Centre, saying that she has proven herself to be a symbol of excellence, a role model and an outstanding personality worthy of emulation.

The Media Executives Network remarked that the honour could not have come at a better time when the country is grappling with identifying personalities of credible and impeccable character; describing Dr. Emem Omokaro as one of the few women that has made Nigeria proud in her positive dispositions, impacts and enormous efforts in shaping the lager society, urging her not to relent in her humble contributions to humanity ...END
