Your appointment at this critical moment was applauded across different parts of our nation, families, communities, and businesses, signalling your ability and competence to root out all forms of banditry, terrorism, kidnapping, and other violent crimes in Nigeria. 

"At the same time, we recognise and honour the courage and sacrifices of our soldiers, officers, and other security personnel, who stand between our people and those who seek to destroy lives and livelihoods. Many have paid the highest price in defence of our country. Their service must never be forgotten.

The Crime Reporters Global noted that, "Without safety on our roads, on our farms, in our markets, schools, and workplaces, it is difficult for any economy to thrive and reach its potential.
