EID AL-ADHA FESTIVAL: Izunaso Salutes Muslim Faithful

Distinguished Senator Osita Izunaso, OFR, member representing the good people of Imo West Senatorial District, and Chairman, Senate Committee on Capital Market and Institutions, has extended warmest felicitations to Muslim faithful, on the auspicious occasion of 2025 Eid al-Adha Celebrations. Remarking that, Eid al-Adha festival is a time to reflect on values of love, compassion, unity and religious tolerance among the people of all faiths and backgrounds.

Distinguished Senator Izunaso said "I extend my heartfelt wishes to the Muslim faithful, the people of Imo State and particularly the Muslim community in Orlu Zone, for their steadfastness, faith, unwavering devotion and contributions to the peace and development of our great nation, Nigeria."

He stated that, Eid al-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, reflects remarkable submissions to faith and devotion, symbolising charity, communal fellowship and the spirit of giving. 

In his message, Senator Izunaso said, "as we celebrate Eid al-Adha, let us embrace the teachings of mercy, charity and sacrifice that the festival represents; an opportunity not only to strengthen our commitment but also to reinforce the bonds that bind us together as a people, with peace, harmony and tolerance among our multi-ethnic-religious population, to fully explore the strength in our diversity." 

He encourages Nigerians of all religious inclinations, to engage in acts of kindness and generosity within their various domains during the celebration, in the spirit of the festival.
