Agujiegbe: Urgent Need For Psychiatric Attention

Members of the public, humanitarian organisations and well meaning individuals, particularly the immediate family of one Mr Agujiegbe from Amaifeke, Imo State have been called upon to urgently without delay rush to his rescue and save him (Mr Agujiegbe) from total psycho-active health collapse, constituting himself a social nuisance and embarrassing the great people of his community and Orlu Zone, as he seems to be currently undergoing serious hallucination and mental distress.

The said Mr Agujiegbe in several social media posts and outbursts had repeatedly made several unguarded utterances and threats to commit suicide; an action which is seen by observers as very strange, absurd and alien to the ways, character and lifestyle of the great and hardworking people of Orlu Zone.

According to concerned citizens, the strange behaviour, a cantankerous defeatist character being exhibited by the Agujiegbe, if not quickly rescued and allowed unchecked, could bring serious reproach, shame and tarnish to the hard earned image, pride and intergrity of the people of Imo West Senatorial District.

In interview with an accomplished business woman, a woman leader from Orlu Zone, who pleaded anonymity, she sympathised with the frustrating health condition of Mr Agujiegbe, while appealing to the great sons and daughters of Orlu Senatorial Zone to quickly go and rescue the Agujiegbe from abominable behaviour that is totally strange to the people of the Zone," she lamented that, "as a mother, born, brought-up and married from Imo West Senatorial District and a critical stakeholder in the Orlu Zone project, I can't fold my arms and watch somebody from Orlu Zone heading to self destruction by advocating suicide upon himself due to, may be, excessive use of hard drugs, self inflicted challenges and multifaceted frustrations confronting him." She remarked.

The woman leader appealed to the good people of the Zone to rally round Mr Agujiegbe to seek proper psychiatric medical treatment to save him and the Zone from impending embarrassment.

When contacted, health experts advised that people should distance themselves and stay away from Agujiegbe in the meantime, to avoid physical assaults which may arise from violent attacks spiked by his worrisome condition, until the unfortunate health issue is properly handled; warning that people, especially youths should stay Off Hard Drugs.

Mr Agujiegbe in his recent posts on several media platforms, had threatened to commit suicide due to his present financial and economic predicaments; an action seen by observers as ignited by excessive consumption of hard drugs and other psycho-active substances, leading to strange utterances, frustrating lifestyle of consistently blackmailing well meaning individuals and politicians of the Zone for weird unwarranted political settlements.
