NARC Hosts Graduation for Strategic Management & Policy Studies Course 7
The Graduation Ceremony of Strategic Management and Policy Studies Course 7/2024, took place Friday August 8, 2025, at Hall C, TY Buratai Block of the Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Asokoro, Abuja.
In his remark at the ceremony, outgoing Director General of the Centre, Maj. Gen. GA Wahab rtd, welcomed graduands and invited guests to the event, while specially congratulating participants for successfully completing the Course; wishing them well as they go put to work the strategically sensitive training acquired throughout the Course duration.
The DG, NARC explained that the Course is meant for members of the Armed Forces from the rank of Colonel and above, Executive Officers of Agencies and paramilitary as well as Security and intelligence Organisations; stating that, the Course study covers, public policies, public administration, strategic management, national development and other relevant areas.
In his speech, the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. OO, Oluyede, represented by the DG, Nigerian Army Heritage & Future Centre, Maj. Gen. Adesina, while welcoming members of the Board of Trustees of NARC, representives of the Service Chiefs, and invited guests to the auspicious ceremony, also congratulated the graduands for successfully completing the 11month executive programme. He said, "the pursuit of enhanced human capital development by the Nigerian Armed forces as means of tackling the revolving hydraheaded global security challenges gave rise to the idea of establishing the Course".
Maj. Gen. Adesina further explained that the primary objective of the Course is to enhance knowledge and equip participants with up-to-date strategic capacities and capabilities, for optimal performances in their various organisations, the country and humanity at large.
The COAS thanked the Board of Trustees of the Nigerian Army Resource Centre and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, for his support for the programme; wishing the participants well as they return to their various locations.
The brief but colourful ceremony which was anchored by the Acting Director, Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Lt. Col. Ngozi Agha, Okoro, had earlier on Thursday August 7, treated the participants to a farewell luncheon.
Highpoints of the occasion, include, presentation of certificates to graduands, general interaction and photo sessions. END
