The troubled Oyigbo LGA, which according to reports is currently under seige by security agencies has been on headlines for sometime now. 

It is believed that a lot of youths and residents of the area are been raided, killed and whisked away to unknown destination by security forces, under the guise of enforcing state wide curfew put in place by the River state government.
