The National President, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Alhassan Yahya, fnuj, has congratulated the Commandant, Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFCSC), Jaji, as well as Directors, Chief Instructors, Directing Staff, Team Leads and all esteemed participants of Exercise HASKE BIYU 2026, on the successful completion of the Senior Course 48.

Comrade Alhassan Yahya described the successful completion of the course as a significant milestone in the professional development of participating officers and external participants and a reflection of commitment of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College towards strengthening leadership, strategic thinking, professional competence and inter-service collaboration.

The NUJ National President commended the Commandant, Directors, the entire Organising team and staff of AFCSC Jaji for their dedication in providing quality professional military expertise and creating conducive environment for training, critical thinking and exchange of knowledge and experience.

He congratulated participants of the Senior Course 48 for their perseverance, discipline and commitment throughout the duration of the Exercise, noting that the knowledge and skills acquired during the course would further enhance their capacity to contribute effectively to critical and strategic collaboration in security challenges and national development.

Comrade Yahya particularly acknowledged the roles of the Directors, Chief Instructors, Directing mentoring the the organic students and participants, stressing that their contributions were essential to the successful delivery of the course.

He urged the graduating participants to continue to uphold the values of professionalism, integrity, discipline, service, collaboration and patriotism in the discharge of their responsibilities, while remaining committed to the unity, peace and security of Nigeria.

Comrade Alhassan Yahya further expressed confidence that the experience gained through Senior Course 48 would strengthen collaboration, team work and understanding among officers and other stakeholders in the collective pursuit of national security and development.

We wish you continued success as you return to your various formations and assignments, trusting that the knowledge and experience acquired will translate into greater contributions to the security, stability and development of Nigeria.”
