EASTER CELEBRATIONS, 2024:
IZUNASO Calls For Sober Reflection

The member representing the good people of Imo West Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Distinguished Senator Osita Izunaso has felicitated with Christians in Nigeria, especially those from Orlu Senatorial Zone, on the occasion of this year's Easter celebrations; calling for a sober reflection among all and sundry.

Senator Izunaso described Easter season as a period when Christians all over the world look inward to reflect on their faith and relationship with God.

According to him "Easter season is a time to think about the message of the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, a time to seek forgiveness and embrace peace with one another".

Senator Osita Izunaso used the opportunity to appeal to Christians and non-Christians alike, to use the period to pray for our dear country Nigeria and the Renewed Hope Agenda government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in his articulated policies and ongoing reforms, aimed at confronting the hydraheaded challenges currently ravaging the country.

Senator Izunaso tasks Christians to endeavour to spread the message of love, peace and togetherness as preached by the doctrines of the Holy Bible, to embrace unity in diversity and above all, affirm faith in the country's ability to surmount its current challenges.

Distinguished Senator Izunaso thanked the good people of Imo West Senatorial District for their overwhelming support and encouragements since his return to the Red Chambers, promising that he will continue to do his best possible to make sure that the spread of dividends of democracy gets to all the Local Government Areas of Orlu Zone; appealing to the people of the zone and Southeast in general to join hands with the government and relevant agencies to make the issue of insecurity a thing of the past, stating that meaningful developments can only take place in peaceful environments.
