SEN. IZUNASO BAGS FELLOW, NIPR

The Senator Representing Imo West Senatorial District, and Chairman Senate Committee on Capital Market, Distinguished Senator Osita Izunaso, Thursday, August 24, 2023, bagged Fellow membership of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations NIPR, after his excellent performance in the institute's mandatory strategic examinations and passing through rigourous screening exercise. 

The Prestigious Fellowship investiture event which took place under a world class colourful ceremony at the Nigerian Airforce NAF, Conference Centre, Jahi district FCT, Abuja, was attented by members of the 36 States of the federation including the FCT. 

The event which attracted dignatories from across various facets of the society, including the high and mighty within the Public Relations domain, had as Special Guest Honour, the newly sworn in Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris Malagi, who re-echoed that he has the express permission of President Bola Tinubu to give Nigerians correct and accurate information at all times and even ready to apologize whenever necessary. 

Speaking on-behalf of other newly inducted Fellows, the highly elated Senator Osita Izunaso thanked the outgoing leadership of the NIPR, led by Mr Mukhtar Sirajo for finding them worthy to serve as Fellows of the Institute; promising they will try their best possible to live up to standards inline with the honour accorded them, in addition to continue to be good ambassadors of the esteemed Institute anywhere and everywhere they find themselves.


Highlights of the event include, presentation of Awards to deserving individuals, decoration of newly inducted Fellows and group photographs. Members of Izuanso Political group, members of Kpakpando Foundation and guests from Imo West Senatorial District, friends and well wishers who graced the occasion in support of their candidate took their turn in joining photograph sessions. ■END
