FRSC Anambra Kick Starts Ember Month with Corps Marshal Fitness Jam

The Anambra State Command of the Federal Roadsafety Corps, FRSC, has made a giant entry into this year's 2022 Ember Months activities in grandstyle, with a special marking of the Corps Marshal Walking / Jogging Exercise.

The event which took place in Awka, attracted large crowd of persons, sister Agencies, other organizations and members of the fourth estate of the realm.

FEDERAL ROAD SAFETY CORPS ANAMBRA STATE COMMAND

FRSC ANAMBRA OBSERVES CORPS MARSHAL WALKING / JOGGING EXERCISE

Corps Marshal walking jogging exercise is a sporting activity  that is observed by all FRSC formations Nation wide every first Saturday of the month. The purpose is to maintain good physical fitness.

The Federal Road Safety Corps Anambra State Command carried out Nov 2022 exercise with the theme: Walking for a Safe, Healthy and Liveable Anambra State today 3rd September, 2022 in collaboration with other sister Agencies and organisations.

The Sector Commander FRSC Anambra State Command Corps Commander Adeoye A Irelewuyi, in his address to participants after the exercise said the exercise today was an upgraded version to mark the beginning of the Ember months and also to prepare Anambra State FRSC Personnel to be fit for the task ahead. He appreciated the massive turn out of all invited guests and Sister Agencies.

The Director of Sports Anambra State Faith Okwonna, in her speech said fitness is very important to the body. She Commended FRSC Anambra for organizing the fitness exercise to prepare their staff to be physically fit ahead of the Ember months.
